Jennifer Lawrence appeared (late) on Piers Morgan with David O. Russell, director of ‘The Silver Linings Playbook’. Watch as she rushes into the studio while Piers is talking to Russell and then hilariously, the screen then displays, “JENNIFER LAWRENCE IS HERE!!!”. The second part of their interview is below:
I don’t know why but it feels like it took forever for this movie to come out. I thought it came out in August then I thought it was coming out in November but it didn’t and now it is finally out
Piers: “Are you sexy?”
JLaw: ” eh, ah, uhm, eh, i just… i’m just…. i’ jus…, ehm, uhm, ah…”

Thanks very much for posting this. I have only been able to find fragments of this interview so far and it is one of the more interesting Lawrence interviews with the right mixture of charming and informative. To reply to Kate – I also got frustrated waiting for this movie but the release strategy appears to have worked. Apparently they believed that the movie would be hard to market cold and hence decided on a phased release tied to the awards season. SLP is on track to pass 80 million domestically and 100 million internationally this weekend and is likely to pass 100 million domestically and another 30 to 40 million in the non US/Canada market before it is through. Considering that it is an independently produced romantic comedy that cost only slightly above 21 million to make that makes it a huge hit.
I was extremely frustrated too. It took like 2 months to start showing here in Hawaii.
