Jennifer Lawrence is SBFF’s Outstanding Performer of the Year
A few months ago we reported that Jennifer Lawrence would be named Santa Barbara Film Festival’s Outstanding Performer of the Year for her roles in both The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook. Well, last night, on the last day of the festival, she was finally awarded this honor.
Santa Barbara’s KEYT News 3 got the chance to interview Jennifer, who was of course in attendance and looking gorgeous in a black and blue Stella McCartney jumpsuit. They also talked with a few of Jennifer’s fans who were in the audience waiting to catch a glimpse of her, and Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell, who once again spoke about his admiration for Jen’s talent.
“She has that charisma and presence of her soul,” he said. “That’s God given.”
