Jennifer Lawrence was on Conan last night, as delightful as ever, and TeamCoco.com has now uploaded two clips from the show. In the clip above, she talks about her huge crush on John Stamos and how she was leering at him at a party before her friends forced her to meet him. (…But honestly, who can blame her? It’s John Stamos!).

Oh my goodness.Notwithstanding the occasional shades of brilliance I saw in her performance as Katniss, I never really understood the hype about Jen until now. But that SLP clip was sheer genius. So many actors play histrionic just one way because it’s all they know, and it comes off like scenery chewing. But this lady, with the eyes and the voice and the slow build of anger leading to hysteria, is a force of nature.
I finally understand the Streep comparisons. I so want her to win now.
