Alan Ritchson to Guest Star on an Episode of Hawaii Five-0

We don’t know if Alan Ritchson, who plays District One victor Gloss in Catching Fire, is set to return to Hawaii next week for re-shoots for the film. However, CF isn’t his only connection to the islands, as Alan has snagged a guest spot in Hawaii Five-0‘s 20th episode of season three, titled “Olelo Pa’a (Promise).”

He plays Freddie, described as a sweet guy who is built like a fullback. Freddie is a Navy SEAL — and he was McGarrett’s best buddy during his years in the military.

We’ll see them in flashbacks to their time training, when they supported each other through some extremely difficult conditions, and later, in battle together, when they had to make some painful choices together.

No news yet on when this episode is set to air, but in the meantime take a look at some pictures SpoilerTV posted from the filming. Looks like it’s going to be a great one!
