I wish I wasn’t at work so I could let the total fan girl reaction out! Now that I am home I am bouncing off the walls :D

I’m so happy for her. And she handled her fall with wit & charm.
    Congrats to Jen!

I’m so happy for her. I think this could be the first of many. Even if I wasn’t such a big hunger games fan, I think she’d still be my favorite actress. So proud. Sucks that she fell, but the speech isn’t what’s important. The recognition, the trophy, and the title “Oscar winner” are all that really matters when all is said and done.

“Even if I wasn’t such a big hunger games fan”

Lol, then why are you on a Hunger Games fans site?

He/she is, he/she said “even if I wasn’t a big hunger games fan” not “even though I’m not a big hunger games fan”. It’s called being hypothetical

If I wasn’t. Lol. People say Jennifer is only my favorite actress cause she plays Katniss but that’s just not true. That’s all I meant.

Also you still quoted me as saying that I AM a big HG fan so I’m not sure where you got confused.

So freaking proud of her. We knew you could do it, Jen. I’m so thankful to have a role model that is so talented and so beautiful inside and out. Here’s to many more Oscars for our Jen :) can you guys believe that Katniss is played by an Oscar winner? It doesn’t get better than that.

    First off, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope she didn’t hurt herself when she fell – I was worried that dress was too poofy for her to walk in. I do hope she’s okay (physically). Emotionally, I’m sure she must be ecstatic!

And how sweet and classy was it of her to wish fellow Best Actress nominee Emmanuelle Riva a happy birthday? Awww. Jen is truly a good egg.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this women. I hope to one day at least see her in person because she’s my ideal women. I screamed out of my seat when she won and then had a complete shock attack when she fell. I literally said why her?!? But regardless of everything, she stood up there with pride. Congratulations Mrs. Lawrence<333

It’s funny, after she wrapped THG and pics of her surfaced filming that jogging scene, I was like, erm so what? And then it turns out to be an amazing movie and she wins this. Talk about underestimating set pics! lol

So proud! :’D I let out a big sigh of relief when her name was called.. Congrats Jen! <3

I’m just ecstatic! Absolutely elated for Jen, she completely deserves this accolade and all that comes with it and I hope she is partying up a storm :D

I was refreshing Twitter at work on my phone like a mad woman (announced shortly before 4pm here in Oz) and had to be careful not to jump up and down screaming lol

If my friends thought I already bragged about THG, it’s about to hit a whole new level hahahaha

It would have been perfect , if she had control on herself and act classy and ignored the photographer ‘s who was joking about her fall insteand of doing a middle finger to him.

Miss Dior is doing a middle finger with her Oscar in the other hand. Dior must be so thrilled about it.

she needs to learn if she as she said wants to be an example for her youngest fan. The middle finger was unclassy and a bad example.

Seriously? I laughed my ass off when I saw that!
She’s not a ‘bad example’! The Hunger Games is 13s, and very violent etc etc, so technically under 13s wouldn’t be watching her collect the award, and Silver Linings Playbook is 15s, so even more reason that she wouldn’t be a bad example!
“Watch your step.” is hardly a joking matter. She fell in front of nearly a billion people, so people who say things like that are clearly trying to get under her skin. I personally think she should’ve thrown the something at him.
I would do the exact same thing in her place, and c’mon, she even apologised for it afterwards!
      “I-sorry. I did a shot…sorry.” xD
Unless doing a shot is a bad example? xD

She is such a talented and amazing actress and she totally deserved this. Having an Oscar is HUGE and to think the girl who plays Katniss Everdeen has one is amazing! I am extremely proud of her and can’t even imagine how proud her friends and family are of her. I can’t wait to see what she does next!
