Still on a high after her Oscar win (and a shot apparently!) Jennifer hit Press Room B to answer a few questions from waiting members of the press.
This video is not to be missed, with Jen’s trademark humour in all of her responses, especially when asked about her fall before accepting the award for Best Actress.

Just came home from the cinema watching silver Linings and i’m so happy that Jennifer won!
Bradley deserved one oscar too though.

Its nice to have someone like her portray Katniss… she definitely won me over with her desperate “I volunteer as tribute!” and all the shaking at the Stockyard/Launch room
She’s an amazing actress and it clearly shows in all of her works (although Silver Linings was just ‘good’ to me)

I try not to miss any of her interviews now, as I can never get over how someone as rich, famous, and beautiful as she is can be so down to earth. I’m so glad she won.
I also love how she calls reporters out on their stupid questions: “What do you mean what happened?” because it was pretty obvious. And it seems it wouldn’t hurt for them to have an escort ready to help women up the stairs to prevent falling.
The questions were so dumb. I could have answered those questions for her. I loved her obvious answers. Maybe she learned that from the Bill Envall Show. “What were your preparations to get ready?” “I took a shower and got my hair and makeup done, here’s your sign.” I honestly hate the questions about the dresses. There is nothing enlightening about them and the answers are always obvious. The one about mental health was the only good one.
It is kind of surprising that there isn’t an escort to help the ladies up. She probably still would have fallen. That was a whole lot of dress.
What is wrong with the reporters? Before becoming a lie-berrian (ha!), I worked as a journo. Some of those questions were just idiotic. Why didn’t any of them ask how happy she was about winning, about the process of preparing for Tiffany, etc?
I laughed when she fell and who ever when to go and help her up is such a gentlmen lol idk about weather she deserved the award or not cause i haven’t seen it but I loved the book and I alread pre odered it on amazon so im hoping I’m not disappointed but way to go Jen

The reporters at the press room always ask questions that vary from the stupid to the offensive. I remember when Anna Paquin won for her role in The Piano and a reporter asked her “Do you have any idea why you won this? why do you think you won?”.
A lot of the questions were pretty weird (like why did she fall? SHE TRIPPED.), but I love how even though Jen looks a bit flustered (I don’t blame her!), she still keeps her good humor and she still acts like a normal person. (Very Katniss of her!!!)
Anyway, she’s amazing and totally deserved this one!!!
For Oscars press room, these were some weird questions to ask her.
Was I the only one who after seeing her fall, recover, give a short endearing speech, and then handle the questions in the press room thought of Woody Harrelson pumping his fist and exclaiming “Genius!”?
