Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2 Prepping to Film in Griffin, Georgia
As we already let you know, pre-production for Mockingjay parts 1 and 2 was slated to start this week in Georgia. Yesterday, On-Location Vacations reported that production signs for the C4 company (one of the production companies associated with the Hunger Games franchise) were spotted this week in Griffin, Georgia.
According to the site, they’ve confirmed from unnamed two sources that the signs are, indeed, for Mockingjay– with one of them pointing to a mill that has been used before for productions such as The Walking Dead. If you’re in or near Griffin, you might want to keep your eyes peeled for these signs, or signs for “GGX” which is what they used for Catching Fire filming.
Seems like things are finally moving forward on Mockingjay! Think we might be getting set pictures soon? How exciting! Be sure to comment and tell us what you think of this development.
