Translation of Berlin MorgenPost:

The human chain, hundreds of meters long, snakes down the street to the Delphi Film Theatre. People of all colors: blond, dark, light-skinned, asian, dark-skinned, tall, short. They all hope to be part of a major Hollywood production.

The Berlin-based agency “Film Faces” is doing the extras casting. The first to arrive came two hours before admission. Wwin brothers Burkhard and Stefan Klimek have been in line longer, “For the past eight hours we’ve been here”, says Burkhard, “but it’s still fun. The weather is beautiful, the people are nice.”

The 49-year-olds have acting experience. What are their chances of success? “Well, we have the twin advantage,” they say at the same time and have to laugh.

The agency had sent out the first casting call for gaunt Mediterranean or Asian-looking men with eccentric, character faces and tattoos. The twins have long black hair and easygoing faces.

Shortly before 10:00 am it begins. Agency head Johanna Ragwitz starts the process. “And nobody has to sing and dance,” she calls out to the crowd, which now pushes into the cinema. Fill in the application form, take a photo, and you’re done. “Is Dieter here?”, calls a young man. “No, and Heidi’s not here either” answers Ragwitz.

They’re refering to Dieter Bohlen, the judge of StarSearch Germany and Model-mom Heidi Klum. Inside there is the registration list. Categories on the list: eye color, hair color, hair length. “Hair length” asks Stefan Klimek. “Maybe one meter,” his brother comes to the rescue. The dress size question triggers a frown and shrug.

Actually, the movie they’re casting is not official yet. The rumor has spread anyway. It is said to be Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2, the third and fourth “Hunger Games” films. Actress Jennifer Lawrence announced at the premiere of Catching Fire that they’d be shooting in Berlin soon.

However, the casting Agency and Studio Babelsberg in Potsdam remain silent on what film is actually being cast. Also, access to the movie theater, where the candidates are getting photographed, remains restricted only to those applying. Actually, the agency allowed access at first, but shortly thereafter restricted access.

Shortly after 11:00am, police estimate that 3,500 people have already been funneled through the cinema.

    That’s crazy.

  • ernest schoenmakers

It’s a shame that Jena Malone isn’t part of it. But my question is, is there any premiere of Mockingjay part 1 in Berlin or Paris?

    • Liliandill

What does it mean: ‘Jena Malone isn’t part of it’? I’m scared to death :(

      • ernest schoenmakers

Well the scenes in Europe are about the battle of District 2 i guess and Johanna Mason had a breakdown and she didn’t pass a military examen so that’s why she isn’t involved, that’s a shame cause i really wanted to go to the set asking Jena for an autograph. But i still hope there’s a premiere in Paris or Berlin. Here’s a picture of Jena Malone on the red carpet:

        • Liliandill

Thanks, I’ve read the book and I know about Johanna, but I was thinking, that Jena won’t be in the movies. But she will be in Berlin in November for sure, I hope ;)

          • ernest schoenmakers

Of course she will be in both Mockingjay parts but NOT in Europe i think, only in the USA. But if there’s a premiere in Europe then i would go over there, i hope it’s gonna be in Paris which is the closest to my home.

          • Liliandill

It must be in Paris, there always are premieres and stars! ^-^ I know what I’m writing, I live in Europe too :>

          • ernest schoenmakers

Alright cause i’m from the south of the Netherlands somewhere near the big city of Eindhoven. This city is about 500 km from Paris. Where do you come from?

          • Liliandill

            From Poland.

          • ernest schoenmakers

That’s nice but for you the premiere would be better to take place in Berlin. As you can see i’m a big fan of Johanna and especially of Jena Malone. I’ve been following her for years and she’s the greatest to me as an artist and as a person in real life. She’s such a sweetheart. Do you have any favourite actors or actresses?

          • Liliandill

Yes, I’ve realized that you’re :> I like her so much too, she’s faultless as Johanna. Moreover my fav actors from THG are Liam, Sam and Willow, generally I’m a fan of Miley Cyrus and Bonnie Wright too.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks for replying, well i used to like Miley Cyrus when she was little but nowadays she’s doing stupid things and she looks like a boy, so she’s quite unattractive, sorry for it. I don’t know Bonnie Wright, is she a singer?

          • Liliandill

I think that Miley is very, very stupid and it gets worse with every day, but I’ve a sentiment ;) I hope she will change. Bonnie has played Ginny Weasley in ‘Harry Potter’ movies.
And I have a question: How do the titles of THG trilogy sound in your native language? In Polish they look like that: 1. Igrzyska śmierci 2. W pierścieniu ognia 3. Kosogłos. A little bit strange for a Netherlander, yes? ;>

          • ernest schoenmakers

Well thanks for replying but you don’t say Netherlander but it’s Dutchman in english, so my native language is Dutch in english. In Dutch you should say ”Nederlander” or ”Hollander” and the language is ”Nederlands”. Alright coming back to THG-franchise it is pronounced in Dutch:
            1 De Honger Spelen
            2 Vlam Vatten
            3 Spotgaai deel 1 & 2
So this is my language and i’ve been in Poland maybe 10 years ago doing a roundtrip. I’ve been to, i have to recall a little bit, Torun, Lodz, Warschau, Mariabork, Zakopane, there’s a quite known city in the north of Poland at the coast of the Eastern Sea i can’t recall the name of. After that i crossed the border to visit the Baltic States. Can you help me with that name?

          • Liliandill

Sorry for the mistake, I’m still learning English :>
            Thanks for the answer.
And the city – maybe Gdańsk or Elbląg?

          • ernest schoenmakers

Djekujev bardzo, i hope i spelled it right, correct me if i’m wrong, but it was Gdansk indeed. The Polish language is quite difficult. I saw the word ”smierci”, does this mean death or dead?

          • Liliandill

I’m glad, that I helped :D We say ”Dziękuję bardzo”, but I’ve understood ;) ”Śmierci” means death, as you can see, the title is translated wrongly. And what about titles in Dutch, I guess, that the first one (De Honger Spelen) means the same in English, I’m learning German, it’s similar to Dutch. ”Vlam” is connected with flames, yes?
Have you realized, that Jena and Johanna have the same initials? ;>

          • ernest schoenmakers

Tak, thanks for correcting me, now i remember writing this word in Polish. And yeah so i was right about that particular word ”Smierci” cause i recalled this from a James Bond movie with the text in Russian Smiert Spionem which means Death to the spy. OK, the Dutch translation from THG is completely the same and ”Flame” means ”Vlam” in Dutch language, but in Polish language you say The Death Games isn’t it? Actually ”Fire” means “Vuur” in Dutch, but we don’t say Vuur Vatten. And Tak i knew about the 2 names have the same initials J.M, so it was preordained for Jena to play this role. Are you doing well with the German language?

          • ernest schoenmakers

Sorry, i can’t help it but here’s another beautiful picture of this very artistic and of course my favourite actress Jena Malone:

          • Liliandill

James Bond educates XD Russian is a Slavonic language too, so some words are congenial. Yes, in Poland foreign titles often are translated incorrectly, I think they have chosen ‘death’, because it sounds more attractive (not for me) than ‘hunger’.
Dus (it means ‘yes’ in Dutch, am I right? :D), my German is rather better than worse ;)

          • ernest schoenmakers

You mean the word ”Tak” is ”yes” in English? But in Dutch we say ”Ja” this is the same word in German. And the word ”Spy” is ”Spion” in Dutch, it’s a little bit the same as in Russian. How far are you with your German course, i mean at what level can you communicate in German?

          • Liliandill

I would define my skills as intermediate, but I want to speak in this language, and also in English, fluently.

          • ernest schoenmakers

So yes i like languages too and i speak French and also a little bit Italian cause the Latin languages are beautiful languages and very old ones.

          • Liliandill

I agree, the whole European culture comes from them. Sorry for my silence, I’m taking very important exams this month.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Doesn’t matter, but first of all i want to wish you good luck with the exams, are these language exams or anything else and secondly from which city are you actually? Sorry for my curiosity.

          • Liliandill

They’re secondary school certificates, we call them ‘matura’, it means ‘an exam of maturity’. Subjects I’m writing: Polish, Maths, English and German. Thanks for supporting me XD
I’m from the north of Poland, from a small, but nice town :>

          • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks, were you satisfied today with your exams or the last couple of days? And i saw you had to do some Maths too, do you like this, cause i’m in tutorial to become a Maths/Physics teacher at college level?

          • Liliandill

Thanks for your concern, the exams were not too much difficult, it’s even suspicious ;D I like Maths now, but a few years ago I hated it. Luckily, my teacher from the high school is just superb and can explain everything.
Do you really wanna deal with Maths/Physics professionally? Salute!

          • ernest schoenmakers

Oh yeah it’s difficult but interesting, i’ve to study alot, scrutinizing deep subjects, idk i’ll have to wait and see whether it works out well or not. Are you finished with your exams or are there more to come? Btw. i’m still waiting for stills of Johanna Mason and trailers of course cause my body is shaking of anxiety and impatience.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Like Johanna screams it out of impatience, this picture proves it:

          • Liliandill

Oh yeah, this scene is just perfect! The Caesar’s comment XD

          • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks, still there aren’t any stills of District 13 and someone told me that Jena’s takes are mostly indoor that’s why there aren’t any pictures taken by the fans, and that’s why i’m still at home knowing that she’s in Paris, but nobody knows about her whereabouts, frustrating and i can’t focus on my study right now, it’s in my head all day long.

          • Liliandill

Yes, it’s unfair, that Johanna’s part in ‘Mockingjay’ is little like that, it’s still a smashing character!

          • Liliandill

I still have to pass German (written and verbal) and Polish (just verbal) tests.
I’m waiting too, I’m so curious!!!

          • Guest

Like i ssaid before, no stills of Johanna and Enobaria.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Like i said before, no stills of Johanna and Enobaria.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Perhaps we can try our next conversation in German, if you want to?

          • Liliandill

It’s cracking, I love her hairdo and makeup, it’s so subtle ^-^

          • ernest schoenmakers

Yes that’s what i like to do, tracking down nice fashionable pictures of artists i like. Here’s another one in the same trend. Btw. Jena Malone is also a great photographer (she studied photography) and she makes pictures of herself and others and posts them on her Instagram:

          • Liliandill

Yes, I realized, that they’re professional photos. What does the shortcut ‘btw’ mean?

          • ernest schoenmakers

Well as you can see is that these photos are a bit in the scifi-genre, she wears as long plastic gown and the short haircut looks scifi-like. So here’s another one in another genre:
            Isn’t she beautiful or what?

  • Liliandill

But what about Jennifer’s wound on her cheek?

  • Ysabel

    THAT IS AWESOME

    • ernest schoenmakers

Where did you get this picture? And is there also a picture of Johanna Mason?

      • ernest schoenmakers

Hello, or ”czeist” in Polish i don’t recall how to write it but there’s a website called: Lovely-Jena Malone, there you’ll find all the nice pictures of Jena Malone. Concerning Johanna Mason, there are only pics of Catching Fire.
Here’s another one of this highly photogenic actress and one of Johanna Mason from Catching Fire:

        • Liliandill

          We say ‘cześć’ :D
Thanks for the link, I’ll check it for sure.
WOW, from which movie is the first photo? This pink is spooky XD
And the second photo is marvellous!!!

          • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks for correcting me, Polish language is really difficult. Well the 1st pic is from the upcoming movie (December 2014) called Angelica. Here you can see Jena taking a break on the set, grabbing a bite. The filmlocation is London. It’s a costume drama wrapped in suspense. The movie takes place in the Victorian era. The plot is about a girl named Constance (Jena Malone) who marries a wealthy doctor (Mr. Barton). Then a child is born with the name Angelica and Constance has a breakdown, gets ill, and a ghost enters their home hovering above Constance and creates a rift in the Barton’s torrid marriage. This movie is gonna be great and i’m looking forward to seeing it.
The 2nd photo has the name of a website now called Down with the Capitol.

          • Liliandill

I love history and paranormal stories. The Victorian era is very dark, so it’s perfect for a movie like this one. You interested me :D

          • ernest schoenmakers

I’ll get that cause languages are connected to history. History explains alot about the definition and origin of words, i like to compare words to other languages in order to understand it’s meaning. Sometimes you don’t remember a word then you can deduce it from another language. Well here’s another pic of Constance:

          • Liliandill

I totally agree! I could write these words.

Wow, I pity women from those times truly, how did they move and breathe wearing so tight (corsets) clothes?

I’ve found a new music video by Jena: http://hunger-games.net/watch-jena-malone-in-her-new-music-video-broken-hearted-love-song-malonejena/

          • ernest schoenmakers

Hi again, thanks for the link, but i saw the video already via her Twitter site, but thanks anyway.
I was thinking about pre-ordering her album that’s fully signed by the Shoe and you’ll get a poster of Jena with it. I liked the video and the song fits it very well. Did you like it? Btw. here are a few pictures about this new music video clip Brokenhearted Lovesong, the guy on the pic is the producer-director of this video clip. The 2nd pic is a still from the video clip.

          • Liliandill

I enjoy these song and video, she’s got a really cracking voice! I love such landscapes, and the clip is very beautiful, it’s not like contemporary vulgar music videos.

    • ernest schoenmakers

Yeah, one can clearly see that it’s a fake, pity. But this picture of Johanna Mason is real:

      • Liliandill

She looks perfect (as always :D).

        • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks, if you want another picture of Jena Malone, just post your comment and ask me.

          • Liliandill

Have you perhaps any posters with her from ”Catching fire” in Dutch? I love languages, here you can see a poster with Jena in Polish:

          • ernest schoenmakers

Nice picture of my beloved Johanna but i couldn’t find the same poster in Dutch language.
Actually i made a mistake by saying ”Vlam Vatten”, but it is ”Vlammen”. Well i have a picture of the 2nd book in Dutch and a special picture of Johanna but in English. So the Dutch site has no posters in Dutch language but in English. Well here they are:

          • Liliandill

THANKS, for someone they could be only the pictures, but that’s my passion – photos, photoshoots with actors and, as I have already written, languages :D

          • ernest schoenmakers

Well then you met the right guy cause i also love watching movies and judging them and posting nice pictures or photos on whatever website. Moreover i like to go to filmsets or red carpet events asking for autographs and photos from the cast, as you know of course a photo from me and Jena together. I have a question: Do you make photoshoots with the cast on appointment or is it your job or is it just for fun?

          • Liliandill

I see that I met a passionate freak like me indeed;) I like watching photoshoots just for amusement.
When and why has your hobby started?

          • ernest schoenmakers

Actually a few years ago and because of Jena Malone. I came to find out how artistic she was, i mean NOT only as an actress but also did she inspire me to make beautiful pictures. Jena is also a big photographer and she writes beautiful poems, like she did for the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Jena was the only one who did that of entire Hollywood when he died.

          • Liliandill

WOW, I didn’t know that she’s a poet too! Respect :D A really Renaissance woman.

          • ernest schoenmakers

Yes, she really is, and that’s why she’s my all time favourite artist, here’s another one of this beauty:
Let me know if you like it.

          • Liliandill

            It’s stunning, she looks gorgeous!!!

  • Ysabel

Guys do you think this is real? or fanmade?

    • Nir

Fan made. That or Peeta’s left forearm’s that short.

  • ernest schoenmakers

I came to find out that Jena Malone is in Paris for filming Mockingjay p1&2, i read this on her Twittersite. My Jena is in Paris right now so i think i’ll go over there to the filmset and meet Jena for real. My whole body is shaking from anxiety. Getting an autograph from her and a picture with her on my cellphone. Well here’s a beautiful picture of Jena Malone:

    • Liliandill

Superb, that she’s in Paris, I hope you’ll find her :> Say Jena, that the Polish fans love and admire her not less than the Dutch ones :D
OMG, her bag, jacket and trousers are cracking! I’d like to wear them!

      • ernest schoenmakers

I’m still at home cause i’m trying to find out the filming sites in Paris and of course the filming schedule. HaHa you liked my picture, thanks you’re really cool. Well, Jena really is into fashion and compared to other actresses way and way better, so here’s another one:

        • Liliandill

Her skirt and shoes! <3 Lovely!

          • ernest schoenmakers

            Nice, isn’t she?

          • Liliandill

            Of course :>

    • Liliandill

Could you give me the link to her Twitter?

      • ernest schoenmakers

Thanks girl for replying me, and here is her Twitter address: Jena Malone @MaloneJena

        • Liliandill

          Thanks! ^-^
