Some of you may remember the really cool room walls that our reader Alexis submitted last May. Alexis wrote to us again to let us know that she and her dad have finally completed the trilogy with her Catching Fire wall. Amazing job! Talk about the coolest room ever!

I’m posting this now because for the last few weeks I’ve been plucking away at writing this massive 20,000+ words set of choose your own adventure stories for Cedric. I was first approached by Adam Spunberg of Picktainment to help write when I started posting here on Mockingjay and I signed on to help with several characters.

In the end though, I ended up writing the entire Cedric storyline and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done! I really have to give props to anyone who wrote one of those novels back in the 80s! I kept forgetting what I’d written in another wrong path and at the end of a writing session I felt so scatterbrained.

Still, I’m happy to have had the experience writing something so big and complicated. I hope you’ll give it a try, enjoy it, and have a go at some of the other tributes too. Some of the stories are really heartbreaking!

Yesterday a mysterious new fansite called The Potter Games went live with a countdown to July 11, 2011 with the tagline, “May the wands be ever in your favor.” Any guesses as to what this could be? A little teaser was posted on YouTube earlier today.
