For this week’s T-Shirt Tuesday, we’re featuring a District 13 shirt from Crazy Dog T-Shirts. We’d previously posted their Hob Trading Post t-shirt and they ended up sending one to me and Kimmy to try out. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the shirt. It’s very soft to the touch and the printing is very well done! The shirt sells for $18.99 and you can use the coupon code HANGOV to get 10% off. They also have a District 11 shirt!

Katniss Barbie Doll Coming in April

Hunger Games fans and Barbie Doll collectors will go ape over this news: Katniss is set to become a Barbie Doll. Not sure how I feel about this being possibly marketed to young girls. I can see this being a great collector’s item, but as for a toy in a practical sense? I’m certainly not letting my 7 year-old daughter read or watch ‘The Hunger Games’, so it would seem silly to get her one of these without her knowing the background.

With this Barbie Hunger Games Doll you can style Barbie just like Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games movie! Hunger Games, a movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, is adapted to film from the original young adult novel by writer Suzanne Collins. This doll’s outfit is made to replicate the very same one worn by the feature character in the movie, and it measures around 12-inches tall! Ages 6 and up.

What do you guys think of this? And what do you think the Katniss Barbie will be wearing? Will she be in District 12 garb? Her arena costume? Her Girl Who Was on Fire dress?
