Interviews from the Catching Fire party at Cannes are still popping up, and this time Yahoo! Screen got around to talking to Jennifer Lawrence, Sam Claflin and Francis Lawrence– and they gave out some details about the film that you all might be very happy to hear!

Jen is very candid as always, commenting on whether or not things have changed on set after she won her Academy Award (“Everybody’s, you know, mean as usual…”), while Sam confesses that he’s not ready for the Catching Fire madness. As far as the movie goes, however, we get some new, interesting tidbits. Francis Lawrence talks about how faithful it is to the book:

“I would say there’s very little that’s been taken out. There’s some additional scenes with some of the characters, with Plutarch and Snow, so Donald Sutherland and new cast member Philip Seymour Hoffman.”

Jennifer comments on the scope of the movie:

“Visually it’s a lot bigger this time. We get a little deeper into the Capitol, and Katniss is trying to get her life back together after the Games, suffering from post traumatic stress…”

And then Sam throws the fans a bone we’ve all been anxiously waiting for when he’s asked what was his favorite moment on set:

“It’d have to be giving Josh Hutcherson CPR. My mouth touching his… was a beautiful moment that’ll live with me the rest of my life. [...] We’re meant to be together.”
