Yes, there needs to be some kind of review of the joining system...

But we try to get it deleted ASAP. Really. We're not going to sit around just letting it build up, it annoys us too.

How you can help

- Don't post on a thread that has spam until the spam is gone - try and hold the idea. This makes spotting spam easier, as the name of the last poster is shown at the side - and spam usernames are often easy to spot

- If you must post a reply on a spammed thread, click the exclamation point that reports the post as spam. This means when I, or any other admin/mod look at it, there'll be an exclamation point telling us that there's spam on a thread

- Don't start threads (in the wrong places) that just complain about the spam. Not only does moving the thread to the right place take up spam-deletion time, it's also kinda disheartening.

If we see spam should we report it anyway, or would it be easier that 5 different people don't report it?

^Yes, absolutely report any spam, but I understand that some people don't want to have to go through and report stuff for me!
