My favorite is Catching Fire.  ;D I love the way in which Katniss and Peeta´s relationship grows close again after the time they´ve been separated and before the 75th HG. Besides it shows a strong Katniss (for me her own self vanishes a little in The Mockingjay), a sane Peeta, the rebellion that has been awaiting, the real Snow and of course, it has a lot of Finnick.  ;D

My favorite book is Catching Fire. I love all of the character development in this book and its many twists in the plot.

My favorite is Mockingjay, I love the plot and the storyline! The Hunger Games was slow, and Catching Fire was predictable.
Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy, Warty Hogwarts.
Teach us something please,
Whether were old and bald, or young with scabby knees.
Our heads could do with filling,
With some interesting stuff,
For now, they're bare and full of air,
Dead flies and bits of fluff.
Teach us things worth knowing,
Bring back what we forgot.
Just do your best, we'll do the rest,
And learn until our brains all rot.

Mockingjay indeed. What a great closure to the trilogy. Loved the rebellion side of the story, and seeing the darker sides of the characters as well.

I'm just a sucker for dark, gritty events, so this was definitely the culmination of a very dark (we're talking violence [kids on kids], reality TV, rebollution, etc.) trilogy, and I really enjoyed it.

Obviously I'm happy they're making 2 movies out of it, and I really hope they do good!

This.

The only thing that I had a problem with was that I read it so fast because I wanted to find out what was gonna happen and then I had holes in the story a bit, not all pieces fit together perfectly. When I read it more calmly it really became my favourite book of the trilogy. Also, I read comments about the ending seeming rushed. I actually thought it fit. Since they go into the Capitol and Boggs dies everything seems getting more chaotic, like it's spinning out of control till it bursts at the point where the parachute bombs go off. And then the story slows down. I think it conveyed the chaotic part of the war well and also it fit with Katniss's state of mind at that point, I think. Anyway, to conclude, loved it, if you have some problems with it, it might be because you read it too fast the first time, like I did :)

I'd definitely agree about the reading too fast bit, I spent most of my first read of Mockingjay just worried sick about Peeta, then Katniss, then Peeta etc I enjoyed my second and third reads a lot more just taking my time with it. I'm happy the final book is split into two films as there is a lot to cover.

It didn't manage to pip CF as my fave though.

I enjoyed Hunger Games the most. I think it was a great first book and nicely set up the other two books.

No clear favorite, since the whole series really is one big book, but I will say that the first book is tops for me by a smidgen, because if I hadn't liked the first book, I wouldn't have gone on to the others.  I devoured the whole book in a little less than two hours, caught up in the suspense of it all.  I can't say the same for the others, though they did have more character development and deal with weighter issues than the first one.

Mockingjay. When I read it, my opinion of Peeta completely changed. I used to hate him but now I like him just as much as Gale. It made me respect him more for some reason...
